Ribbon Wreath

Remember this super cute card featured last Friday in the button challenge gallery by Dawn Woleslagle?
Well I desperately wanted to learn how to make that beautiful ribbon wreath and Dawn has so graciously headed my pleas! Thank you thank you! Visit her blog and see how to make a ribbon flower by clicking here.
For the wreath, instead of doing a running stitch straight down the center of the ribbon, zig-zag stitch from side to side; this produces the tightly ruched effect instead of ruffles.
Thanks so much for the tutorial Dawn, I’m off to try and make some myself. If I start now perhaps I can have enough of them made for my Christmas card next year
